A player-facing summary of verified Midgard City gameplay adjustments patched by Griffin that differ from the usual classic expectation.
Party Momentum
Active party members who stay together can build Party Momentum for extra group support. It rewards real nearby party play instead of passive party slots.
Merchant Skill Rework
Discount and Overcharge now support party hunting instead of only shop use. Their bonus activates when at least 2 party members are online, and only the highest Merchant skill level in the online party is counted.
- Discount: shared EXP bonus for the whole party.
- Formula: +1% EXP per skill level, plus +1% EXP for each online party member.
- Full party example: Discount Lv 10 with 12 online members gives +22% EXP, so the party receives 122% EXP.
- Overcharge: shared drop rate bonus for the whole party.
- Formula: +0.5% drop rate per skill level, plus +0.5% drop rate for each online party member.
- Full party example: Overcharge Lv 10 with 12 online members gives +11% drop rate.
Double Attack Update
Double Attack has custom synergy with critical-focused play, giving Thief-line basic attack builds a stronger burst ceiling during normal combat.
Weapon Forging Balance
Weapon forging keeps its normal base process, but special forged weapons now carry clearer success penalties when extra effects are added.
- Using an Element Stone lowers forge success by 20%.
- Using 1 Star Crumb lowers forge success by 15%.
- Using 2 Star Crumbs lowers forge success by 30%.
- Using 3 Star Crumbs lowers forge success by 45%.
Element Stone and Star Crumb penalties stack together on the same forge attempt.
Card Bonuses Rework
Some cards have custom bonus adjustments on Midgard City to better fit the server's gameplay direction while keeping their identity familiar.
List of Reworked Cards
- Cramp Card: zeny gain is removed, replaced with STR +1, while its other normal effects stay in place.
